Happy first of the month everyone!
I managed to finish that book that I mentioned last Saturday and well, it was not that bad. Like any book, it had its ups and downs but it was a good read never the less.
In other news, Toronto and well pretty much all of the GTA was hit by a little winter storm that made the commute home from work a bitch this evening. Leaving work early so not to be stuck downtown due to train delays, I was faced by a packed 4:10 pm train that was literally bursting with would be passengers who were all arguing and bickering with each other in order to force themselves on to the train. It kind of reminded me of the movie Titanic when the ship was going down and everyone was panicking and doing crazy things (jumping off the boat) in order to move to a better place in line or off the ship in the case of the movie. Anyhow, people on the platforms were being incredibly dumb crossing the tracks and just pushing and shoving themselves into a spot where they think the train doors of the train will stop and I missed the 4:10 pm train and ended up taking the 4:40 pm train which was not nearly as packed as the 4:10 pm - so it's all good!
Just before writing this entry, I watched Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. And all I have to say is that it was one funny movie. A little random but very funny either way.
Have a good night and drive safely tomorrow morning if you live in the GTA - the roads might be a little crappy.
