Canada Wins GOLD!

The Canadian Juniors will be bringing home gold after having a huge win over the Russian Juniors today. After scoring 3 goals within 3 minutes and following it up by one more in the second period, the team went on to capture their 3 straight gold medal. WOOOO Canada!
In other news, I went out for dinner tonight with my good friends Tammy, Lena and Rodney to Lonestar Grill in Toronto, where I filled myself with wings and beer (It was Corona night or something like that so it was only $5 a bottle!). Rodney ordered Calamari which made me think about the conversation me and Nick had on the train this morning about giant squids which can reach lengths of 150 ft or something huge like that. Of course giant squid would probably not taste anything as good as mini squid but it is still neat to think about how huge those things can get. To make things crazier, Sperm Whales eat those ginormous things! I watched some show on the travels of some whale, and the things apparently go thousands of feet under water to eat squid after bashing them on the sea bottom for a while...Anyhow dinner was super and hanging out with those guys was fantastic, hopefully this weekend will be filled with super fun interesting things.
