Drive to Windsor
November 4, 2006
Today was one hell of a loooonng day - I went on a trip to Windsor Ontario to go do some shopping at the Colombia Winter Apparel Outlet and go visit my cusin Lola (which I found out means Grandma in Philippine - info from Miami Ink so that might not be very accurate) shes not my grandma though, shes 21 I think or 20 and ya my cousin.
So moving on, the drive was 4 hours both ways and it is a mighty good thing I brought my laptop because I would have been bored out of my tree if I did not bring anything to work on. For example here is a picture timeline of the boredom my sister faced during the drive to Windsor:

This is 10 minutes into the drive and a shot of an old barn in Bradford - the boredom has not quite set in yet.

This is a shot of hidro-lines an hour into the drive - she is getting a little bored.

This is a shot of the Milton water tower in Milton - which is I think 2 and a half hours in or something like that. Either way she was occupied with something else so she did not take any pictures. This picture illustrates how bored she became during the commute.
If you do not find those pictures as being a decent indication of how boring a drive it is to Windsor take a look at these two videos I took while taking a break from the work I was doing on my comp. Both videos are without audio because all that is heard is the hum of the tires on the road.
Video 1 - watch - This was taken while driving through London on the 401(sorry about the thing on the lens... I don't really know what that is)
Video 2 - watch - This was recorded an hour after that first video, I have no clue where we are except for the fact that it looks exactly the same as it did in London.
Once we arrived in Windsor we went to the Colombia store bought our stuff, got out of there, went to another outlet plaza where I became a human popsicle because all of the stores were girl stores and had nothing for me to look at inside. After that we went to Lolas work where we ate and chatted with Lola, then we left and headed home.
On the way home we stopped at a Tim Hortons and I got a tea - not steeped, just a one shot of milk with tea, bag in - the lady put a LOT of milk in the tea so it was weak from the start. About an hour after drinking that tea, I started to feel like crap. I think the milk was sour or something... it was not fun. We got home late and I sent a message to Melissa on myspace asap and then went to bed... I was freaking exhausted.
Cheers,
Mike
