WIINNNGS - Yum!

October 18, 2006

Hey y'all,

Long time no post for me. I have been really busy at work and at home getting used to things and also working on a new CMS for my site, one that is much better than the quick one that I set up when I created the site.

Today was a great day though, I got lots accomplished and I bumped into Jamie Coture on the train who went out for wings with Hayley, my sister, Bradley Bradley and myself. We had a good time talking about things like how the canal should not be closed just because people drive into when they are drunk and or speeding, and how nice it would be to be school loan free. Hayley is the first in my little group of friends that is debt free and we are all happy for her. There will be some heavy drinking later on to celebrate this momentus event.WOOOOO.

On a Hayley note, she picked me up from the train station today and brought me on some errands before driving the both of us for din din. Early in our travels her "you need gas" light was on in her car and both herself and I have never experienced an empty gas tank before and were about to see what it was like but we thought that should wait another day and went to get some petrol. While she was getting some petrol I was trying to get cash from the damn cash machine at the gas station. I had to have swiped my card at least 10 times and the crappy thing would not read my card. Hayley took a crack at it and her magic touch did not work either. So we took off. By the way both herself and I were looking mighty spiffy tonight too, she does not agree but I think so. In fact everyone today looked spiffy, it might have been National Spiffy looking day... but both Hayley and I looked the spiffiest.

Anyhow, back to the wings. THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME. Now if any of you ever come to Bradford there are only two places where you can get good wings. The Village in or C.W. Coops. We went to C.W. Coops and ordered 5 lbs of wings for the 3 of us, Jamie was not in the mood for bird. We have had just about every variety they have now and they are all good. I prefer the Thai style wings - yummy. Unfortunately our regular variety of Garpar was a lot spicier than what it normally is... which was a little rough as I was drinking Keith's with the food. BEER AND SPICY WINGS DO NOT MIX. They were not super spicy but with beer any wings feel spicier than normal.

Nothing too crazy happened as we were all starving and not in for a crazy night. Friday night were either going to the V.I. to celebrate my birthday (October 23rd if you do not know) or were going to have a bonfire at my place. Either way im going to be getting hammered. :) Cheers Mike
