My sister burning toast

Good day everyone,
Just a few minutes ago, I was sitting in the kitchen eating an apple and doing work on my laptop when my sister came into the kitchen with the wonderfull idea to make toast. So she starts off by taking the toast out of the rapping and puts two pieces into the toaster. A few seconds after that Bradley calls and completely distracts her from what she was doing just a few seconds before. The conversation got interesting obviously because she decided to sit down and talk more.
The toast in the toaster now starts to smoke. Smoke is plumming out of the top of the kitchen utility like a erupting volcano - just a little lighter.
For some odd reason she does not smell the smoke, so she wont turn her head to see what is going on just over her shoulder.
All while this is happening, im sitting at my computer in amazement. This person who is burning toast to the point of the bread catching fire is the same person who made a Wolfgang Puck cake just two days earlier, what happen?
She hangs up the phone and turns around to check out her toast.

Here is a picture of Melissa jumping into action. She is opening the window just above the toaster.
The window is not working as well as she thought it would, maybe waving the smoke with a towel will help.
This is after she grabed the toaster and threw the burning toast into the 'grape area' of the backyard.
Now I am not a pro at cooking but there is one thing that I can do - that is make perfect toast!

haha i love how you sat there watching the toast be cremated! that's something i would do, lol this site will be getting more attention from me from now on :P
